How are our prices calculated?

When calculating shipping costs internationally, we base parcel prices on the four areas below.

  • The weight of your parcel – parcels sent with Evri cannot exceed 15kg
  • Your parcel’s destination – the further you’re sending your parcel, the more your delivery will cost
  • Depending on the destination, larger parcels may incur an additional cost. This is dependent on the maximum parcel size allowed, which can’t be longer than 120cm in length or 245cm in circumference and length combined.
  • How you want to send your parcel – whether via Courier, ParcelShop, or Locker, your chosen delivery option will impact your parcel’s overall price.

To keep the cost as low as possible, we price all our parcels per 250g so you never need to pay for more than what you’re sending. That’s why it’s always important to give an exact figure when weighing your parcel.

All international parcels are covered up to a value of £20, for free, and this includes parcels with international shipping costs. International parcels can also be covered up to a value of £999, so long as they are items that we can cover.

Take a look at our list of non-compensation items if you’re unsure whether your item can be covered.

How can I pay for my international parcel?

With Evri, we keep paying for the cost of shipping internationally as simple as possible by letting you pay for your delivery in one of two ways:

  • Credit or debit card – we accept payments from all major credit and debit card companies
  • PayPal – all Evri parcels can be paid for using PayPal
  • PrePay options – add funds in advance to save time at checkout

International shipping cost FAQs

What happens if my parcel is bigger/heavier than declared? chevron down

We realise that mistakes can happen, however, we ask for your help to ensure we can keep our prices as low as possible by carefully weighing and measuring your parcel. We rely on customer accuracy to ensure our pricing is the best we can offer, but inaccuracies in dimensions can result in large volumetric differences. Should extra payments become due we reserve the right to recover them.
